UNION GOSPEL MISSION
Union Gospel Mission Neighborhood Cultural Awareness Training
Tuesday July 17th at 8:00-10:00am AND Friday July 20th at 6:00-7:00pm
Tuesday morning, meet at Vierra’s Bakery (where the homeless men go to get their breakfast). Chariss Warner, UGM staff, will conduct a walking tour during the safe morning hours with education as to places and things to avoid. Friday evening will be a more limited walk but, a better reality picture of the ‘action’ in the neighborhood.

GRACE CLINIC
Grace Clinic will be moving into a new building this summer. They are looking for volunteers to help with building upgrades. They need the following:
- Licensed contractors (electricians, carpenters, etc.). Please contact Bob Johnson (509-735-6220).
- If you can hoist a paintbrush, clean up, move furniture, or donate materials, please contact the Clinic (509-735-2300).

TRI-CITIES PREGNANCY NETWORK
Needed: Volunteers
In response to the high-level of need in our community, Tri-Cities Pregnancy Network will soon open a third center in Kennewick in the fall. They will continue to operate centers in Pasco & Richland. When ready for occupancy, the 3,500+ square foot facility near Edison & Clearwater in Kennewick will not only serve clients, but will also house administrative offices.

MID-COLUMBIA KIDNEY CENTER
6825 Burden Blvd., Pasco WA
Needed: Patient Greeters (known as a Village Greeter)
Dialysis patients sit in a chair for up to four hours per treatment, three times a week. Having a volunteer Village Greeter helps the patients during the time they are visiting the clinic for treatment.
Volunteer activities include (but not limited to):
- Greet and visit with patients and family members in the waiting room
- Help plan theme days and celebrations
- Read, call Bingo, or keep company with patients receiving treatments
- Send birthday cards, serve birthday cakes
- Monitor patients in the waiting room and alert the care team is they need assistance
