The following are some of the upcoming short term mission trips. Dates are approximate and may be adjusted closer to the trip. Please contact Traci Denton (traci.denton@bethel-church.org) by email if you need additional information on these trips.

Partnering with Haitian Christian Mission, the high school youth group (accompanied by adults) conducts a vacation bible school for the children.

November 7-17, 2012
Haiti Medical
Trip Leader: Derek Alexander
Partnering with Haitian Christian Mission, the team will work with Haitians in on-site clinics and off-site mobile clinics. Applications are due August 26th and a $500 deposit is due September 2nd. We have a maximum of 12 spots available for this trip. If there are more than 12 qualified applicants, priority will be given to medically trained personnel and then by date the application was submitted.
February 8-19, 2013
Haiti Mechanical
Trip Leader: TBD
Work alongside Haitians to help train in ongoing mechanical needs such as car maintenance, electricl work, etc. Focus is on both preventative and restorative repairs. Applications are due November 30th and a $500 deposit is due December 16th.
March 27 - April 7, 2013
Cambodia
Trip Leader: TBD
Partnering with Agape International Mission, this team will help with Agape’s outreach in anti sex trafficking. The team may help in teaching classes (computer, photography, self defense, etc), conduct VBS for the kids, or facilitate a sports camp, etc. The activities are designed to draw in people from the community, establish relationships, and share God’s love with them which help Agape in their long term outreach. The team will pool together what talents and skills they have and the activities will be determined by that. Applications are due January 16th and a $500 deposit is due by February 3rd.

Partnering with Haitian Christian Mission, the team will work with Haitians in on-site clinics and off-site mobile clinics. Although medical professionals are needed, you do not have to be medically trained for this trip. There are many roles to fill at the clinics that do not require medical training. Applications are due April 5th and a $500 deposit is due April 26th.
