In this lesson/message we will examine how God created man perfect and infused in him a perfect purpose, but sin disrupted all of that and made man and his purpose imperfect. In future messages we will see how God created a perfect plan to redeem His Perfect man.

In the story of the gospel, God was the beginning. He’s the creator of the universe and everything in it. He is all-powerful, all-knowing and perfect.
This Week at Ignite…
In this message, grace will be explained. Mike will help us see how to deal with the lost without sounding hateful, exclusive, or like it is impossible to be transformed by Jesus. When we reach out to the lost, we want to sound loving, forgiving, gentle, and respectful. Mike will show us how we can see people as broken by sin rather than make sin their identity. We do this by showing THE G WORD.
In this message, tolerance will be explained. Ron will roll out the phrase “love the person, not the sin, and how this is what Jesus demonstrates for us. If we tolerate someone’s behavior, actions, etc. and it’s wrong, we are not helping but hurting them eternally. When the world says to hold your tongue and put up with them, love tells us to reach out and help them. We can’t stay quiet and be THE T WORD.
In this message, judging will be explained with a focus on judging non-believers/non-Christians. Jesus displayed the best example of how this is to be done in the scripture such as John 8. When judging non-believers, we cannot quote scripture to them or else they may shut down. Instead, we live our life by example and love them.

In this message, judging will be explained with a focus on judging believers/disciples/Christians. It is important to hold each other, as believers, accountable in this life. We grow in our faith and are sanctified when we lovingly use THE J WORD.

…prays for the salvation of specific people and God’s work throughout the world.
…watches for and seizes opportunities to share the gospel.
…builds relational bridges to non-believers in order to win them to Christ.
…acts boldly in the authority of Jesus, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit to bring about change.
…promotes what is good and exposes evil.
…meets needs of the poor and powerless.
