I have pondered my level of involvement with my 2 daughters as they have grown up. I do know that sometimes I get too emotionally involved with situations that they have. I like how this author suggests that parents use their gifts to edify the body of Christ not just focus on their kids. Linda Ortberg said, “My parents modeled what it looked like to serve God with their gifts while letting us kids explore our own.”
