Pray:
- Pray for Bethel attenders to become more involved in the lives of local homeless people
- Pray for open doors to help meet the spiritual needs of the homeless
- Ask Jesus to place homeless people in our path for the purpose of loving them in word and deed
- Pray God would provide the financial resources needed by the UGM and Habitat for Humanity to meet local needs
Do:
- Form and lead a small group or bible study at the UGM
- Participate in Habitat’s “Brush with Kindness” or “Impact Day” programs
- Help the UGM provide transitional and permanent housing for clients in need
- Volunteer at the Habitat Store
- Provide work opportunities for homeless clients to get work experience and build a resume to become employable
- Volunteer to serve on a Habitat construction team
- Provide daily facility assistance at the UGM (sorting donations and food, serving in the kitchen)
- Provide office support at the local Habitat office
