Pray:

• Pray for Bethel attenders to become more involved in the lives of local homeless people
• Pray for open doors to help meet the spiritual needs of the homeless
• Ask Jesus to place homeless people in our path for the purpose of loving them in word and deed
• Pray God would provide the financial resources needed by the UGM and Habitat for Humanity to meet local needs

Do:

• Form and lead a small group or bible study at the UGM
• Participate in Habitat’s “Brush with Kindness” or “Impact Day” programs
• Help the UGM provide transitional and permanent housing for clients in need
• Volunteer at the Habitat Store
• Provide work opportunities for homeless clients to get work experience and build a resume to become employable
• Volunteer to serve on a Habitat construction team
• Provide daily facility assistance at the UGM (sorting donations and food, serving in the kitchen)
• Provide office support at the local Habitat office
